Tantita’s Enisuoh to Chair 2nd JustNet Summit, as Aisuebeogun, Ogungbangbe, Others Join Discourse

The Executive Director, Operations and Technical Services, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Capt. Warredi Enisuoh, has been appointed chairman of the second JustNet Transport Summit scheduled for October 23, 2026, in Lagos.
Also, the former Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and transport expert, Dr Richard Aisuebeogun; Chief Executive Officer of CITA Energies, Dr Thomas Ogungbangbe and University of Lagos Senior Lecturer and transport specialist, Dr Femi Aiyegbajeje, will join other industry figures to deliberate on strategies for strengthening Nigeria’s transport and logistics sector amid global disruptions.
Organised by JustAlive Communications Limited, publishers of JustNet News and PR consultants, the one-day summit would hold at Providence Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, with the theme: ‘Navigating Global Disruptions and the Road Ahead: Mobility, Energy and Trade Facilitation for a Resilient Future.’
The event is expected to attract policymakers, regulators, transport operators, infrastructure developers, energy professionals, academics and other stakeholders across the aviation, maritime, road, rail, inland waterways, energy and logistics sectors.
Discussions would focus on the effects of global disruptions on Nigeria’s transportation industry and practical measures to improve its resilience, efficiency and competitiveness.
Enisuoh, popularly known as the “Double Captain” because of his experience in maritime and aviation sectors, is expected to bring a security and critical infrastructure protection perspective to the deliberations.
His operational responsibilities at Tantita Security Services, a major pipeline surveillance and security company, are expected to enrich discussions on protecting strategic national assets, safeguarding energy infrastructure, ensuring energy security and facilitating the uninterrupted movement of people and goods.
These issues have become increasingly important as disruptions to energy supply chains and critical infrastructure continue to affect transportation, trade and economic activities.
As keynote speaker, Aisuebeogun is expected to examine the challenges confronting Nigeria’s transport sector amid global disruptions and outline possible responses. His address would explore issues relating to transport infrastructure, institutional governance, operational efficiency and the strategic role of aviation in facilitating trade and economic development.
Ogungbangbe, Chief Executive Officer of CITA Energies, is expected to provide an energy-sector perspective, focusing on the implications of oil-market disruptions, energy supply challenges and the relationship between reliable energy, infrastructure investment and the operational sustainability of transport systems.
His contribution is expected to highlight the importance of energy security to the effective functioning of transportation networks, given the sector’s dependence on reliable and affordable energy for passenger movement, cargo operations and infrastructure development.
Besides, Aiyegbajeje, a senior lecturer in the Department of Geography at the University of Lagos, is expected to bring an academic and technical perspective to discussions on mobility systems, transport planning and the development of an integrated and sustainable transportation network via effective rail connectivity capable of withstanding global disruptions.
His participation would complement the contributions of industry practitioners by highlighting the need for effective transport planning and better integration of Nigeria’s different modes of transportation.
In a statement issued at the weekend, the Managing Director of JustAlive Communications Limited, Mrs Pearl Ngwama, said the summit was conceived as a platform for industry players, policymakers and other stakeholders to examine emerging challenges in transportation and develop practical solutions for building a more resilient transport ecosystem.
Ngwama said the discussions would address the impact of global disruptions on Nigeria’s transportation system, with particular attention to mobility, infrastructure development, energy security, trade facilitation and the implications of international economic and operational developments for the country.
She explained that the objective was to facilitate robust, solution-oriented deliberations capable of generating actionable recommendations to support the development of a more efficient, sustainable and future-ready transport sector.
According to her, the summit’s theme indicates the growing interdependence of transportation, energy supply chains and international trade, where disruptions in one segment can trigger operational and economic consequences across the wider value chain.
For Nigeria, the challenge extends beyond providing transport infrastructure to ensuring the effective integration of road, rail, aviation, maritime and inland waterways systems. Other critical considerations include the protection of strategic assets, reliable energy supply, efficient cargo movement and policies that encourage private-sector investment while improving service delivery.
The deliberations are therefore expected to examine how stronger institutional coordination, infrastructure protection, technological innovation and sustainable investment can improve the performance of the country’s transport system and reduce its vulnerability to external and domestic shocks.
The organisers said the second edition builds on the maiden summit held in 2025, which provided a platform for stakeholders to deliberate on critical issues affecting Nigeria’s transportation industry.
The 2026 edition is expected to deepen those engagements by expanding discussions on emerging industry trends, regulatory and policy challenges, investment opportunities and practical approaches to strengthening the sector’s contribution to national economic growth.
JustNet News, a digital news platform published by JustAlive Communications Limited, covers developments across aviation, maritime, inland waterways, rail and road transportation, as well as related logistics and infrastructure issues.
The organisers expressed confidence that the summit would strengthen engagement among industry stakeholders and promote constructive dialogue on the policies, partnerships and investments required to position Nigeria’s transportation industry for sustainable growth amid evolving global economic and operational challenges.
