The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority(NCAA) has prevailed on THE National Union of Air Transport Employees(NUATE) AvSec and Logistics subsector to jettison their planned strike for today..

– The regulatory agency  asked for a week extension on the matter so that it can address the issue raised by the Union.

– Comrade Ocheme Aba, NUATE General secretary confirmed the development

According to Aba, Capt. Musa Nuhu, DGCA intervened by asking for a week’s extension.

– The union has asked members to stay action on the strike, which was expected to commence this afternoon

– The union awaits official letter from NCAA on its instergram

– The union has been on the issue for over two years
