Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo,  who represented  President Bola Tinubu ,delivered his speech   at the African Pavilion during the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 28  in Dubai,United Arab EmiratesUAE).

The minister highlighted Nigeria’s commitment to a comprehensive transition from fossil fuels to low-emission fuel across all sectors of the economy.

He  launched Nigeria’s Long-Term Low Emission Development Strategy. This document serves as a testament to the nation’s unwavering dedication to achieving sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.

The event marked a significant milestone in Nigeria’s pursuit of a low-carbon future. The Minister expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to global climate efforts and thanked all involved for their support in this crucial initiative.
