Kuku acknowledges contributions of stakeholders in maintaining highest security standard
Mrs.Olubunmi Kuku,Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria(FAAN) has acknowledged the significant roles played by stakeholders in securing highest safety standard in the aviation sector. She made this statement while speaking at a symposium with theme, “Fundamentality of Aviation Security in Achieving the Safe-Skies Goal” in Lagos organized by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority. “Our gathering here will go a long way in promoting security consciousness, fostering collaboration, and enhancing aviation security governance across Nigeria in alignment with ICAO standards. Annexe 17. “ The significance of this cannot be overstated. Our commitment to reinforcing aviation security must be steadfast and adaptive in an era marked by evolving threats and rapid technological advancements. Through dialogues like this, where expertise, experience, and innovation intersect, we can collectively share strategies and frameworks that ensure safety without compromising efficiency. As we have converged to share insights and best practices, I am confident that our collective expertise will shape the future of aviation security in Nigeria. Our commitment to this critical aspect of aviation will undoubtedly contribute to the safety and security of passengers, crew members, and the general public. We recognise the valuable contributions of all stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, airline operators, security agencies, and other critical stakeholders in maintaining the highest security standards. Over the next few hours, we will engage in thought-provoking discussions, share best practices, and explore innovative solutions that will enhance aviation security in all our airports across Nigeria. Once again, I commend the Director General of the NCAA for the foresight in convening this event and wish all participants fruitful deliberations and enduring partnerships.
