Yakubu-Funtua(standing) LAAC members

Members of the League of Airport and Aviation Correspondents(LAAC) whose primary area of reporting is the flying sector, have been charged to disseminates information that will grow the industry.

The advice came from the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria(FAAN),Alhaji Abdullahi Yakubu –Funtua while having interactive session with members of the Association at  the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos.

According to him, wrong impression should not be created about the sector as if it is exclusively for  the high class only.”Everybody can have access to aviation which is better for FAAN ,more money for the Agency and the country.”

Said he:”Next time when you are writing your articles, let them portray the industry in good light, not scaring”.

He promised that the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria will assist the media to grow the industry noting that”we are ready to partner with you always”.
