The Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku has expressed her profound sadness at the sudden passing of the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo.

Mrs. Kuku described the late administrator as a thorough-bred professional, a committed agent of progress, who worked tirelessly in the background of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s government.

“My heartfelt sympathy to you, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on the loss of your dear friend and confidant,” Mrs. Kuku said. “He was a dependable ally, a lieutenant like no other. His demise has left a hole in our hearts and in the ‘Greater Lagos’ administration.

“I grieve deeply with his wife, Yewande, and the children on the loss of their darling husband and father. Words fail me as I can not  imagine the agony you are currently going through.

“Please accept my sincere condolences. May the Almighty console the Sanyannwo Family and the Lagos State Government at this most challenging and tragic time.”
