  Aviatrix Hub approved not long ago by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority(NCAA) as Aviation Training Organisation(ATO) for the training of Basic and Advanced Dispatchers has turned out its first batch of students.

  The intensive training which spanned over six weeks,was conducted by the Accountable Manager/ Chief Executive Officer of the Organisation,Mrs.Victoria Adegbe, supported by other instructors.The training took place in Lagos and Enugu.  

   According to the lists of the graduands released by Aviatrix Hub,they are Lydia Olodun, Jude Olayiwola , Angela Chukwu and Afoma Onyechi  who had their training in Lagos.

  Also came out in flying colours in Enugu zone are  Ibanga Matthew, Ibrahim Nathaniel,Orungbami Shola,. Ibeabuchi Princewill and Aizenabor Benedicta.

  Also graduated are Ukpong Sunday,Anyanwu Henry, Chukwuka Godsglory and Ezenwa Anita

In his remarks during  the graduation ceremony,  Chairman of the occasion and the first President, Flight Dispatchers Association of Nigeria (FLIDAN), Taiwo Raji urged the graduates to be good ambassadors of the Aviatrix Hub while practicing their profession in different parts of the world.  

Taiwo Raji told  them to create jobs and not to join the group of people seeking for employment.  

He admonished them to task their brains and come up with solutions to myriad challenges besetting the Nigerian aviation sector  and not to add more to the over saturated glitches.

  “To the graduands, today is your day and we are all sharing the joy with you and my advice for you is to know that graduating here today is a great achievement in your chosen career.

  “In addition, I would like to advise you to be of good character outside school life when you will be working with others in diverse groups or organisations. Your qualification can make you better with hard work and good conduct”  

“Have the determination to be a work creator and not job seekers. Join, fix the challenges and not create more challenges, remember to always be good ambassadors of your family and the institute,” he advised.”

  Speaking further,the FLIDAN President commended the management and staff of the institute for the knowledge they imparted on the graduands .  

During the intensive training, NCAA was at the premises of Aviatrix Hub Training Institute to monitor and observe and the regulatory body rated Aviatrix Hub highly for its style of training.

  Prior to their graduation the students were also hosted at the Control Tower of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport(MMIA), where they witnessed firsthand the communications between the pilots and the control tower and how clearances were handled.  

The Accountable Manager /Chief Executive Officer of Aviatrix Hub Training Institute, Mrs. Victoria Adegbe, expressed joy at the graduation of the school’s batch of students.  

  She urged the graduands to be focused and steadfast in their profession as Flight Dispatchers are very important to flight operations.  

  Advancing  her pointMrs. Adegbe,  explained to the excited graduands that without Flight Dispatchers, there is no way any flight can take off.    

She urged the graduands to always feel free to communicate with her in the course of the job as according to her, “I run an open door policy”.

  In his view, the representative of the President, Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Comrade Frances Akinjole commended the determination of the Accountable Manager /CEO of the school for starting on a very good foundation.  

He said that he believed what he has  seen is the beginning of what to expect from Mrs.Adegbe.

  On his part, the Editorial Page Editor, Nation newspapers, Mr. Sanya Oni urged the students to be the spark of light in their little corner as they jourmey into the labour market

For the CEO, Sanya said that he was not surprised that Adegbe is succeeding because she has the zeal, passion and determination to succeed, urging her to keep the flag flying.

  Meanwhile, the CEO said that the second batch would be graduating in December.   To grace the occasion, is a veteran Dispatcher,ace columnist with Aviationline Magazine and one time Guest Speaker at the Annual Conference of The League of Airport And Aviation Correspondents(LAAC) and commentator on lives radio and television programmes,Mr.Olusina O.

Other were the General Manager, Aeronautic Information Service (AIS), Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Kabir Gusau, the Chief Inspector /Maintenance Safety and Aircraft Maintenance Engr. Sherry Kyari , members of the League of Airport and Aviation Correspondents (LAAC) led by its Chairman, Olusegun Koiki  and  representatives from Airline Operators of Nigeria(AON) and her former students.

  Aviatrix is an NCAA certified Aviation Training Organisation(ATO) and it commenced operations with the enrollments of both Basic and Advanced Flight Dispatch courses a few months ago.    

  The school ensures both theory and sufficient practical classes for the students
