The Airline Operators of Nigeria(AON) has showers praises on President Bola Tinubu and Mr.Wale Edun Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Minister of the Economy for timely suspension of 4% Free On Board levy on imports.

The umbrella body of all domestic airlines in Nigeria affirmed that the action of the President and the Minister is a clear demonstration of President Tinubu’s commitment to creating a business–friendly environment, protecting critical sectors of the economy, and promoting sustainable growth.

Information reeled out and signed by Alhaji Abdulmunaf Yunusa Sarina,President and Barrister Allen Onyema Vice President  of AON,said,the levy, if implemented, would have had severe consequences for airlines in Nigeria, leading to higher operating costs, further straining an industry already contending with multiple economic challenges.
