All  Directors in aviation agencies have been relieved of their appointment with immediate effect.

The Directors of the affected agencies are :

• Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria         (FAAN)

• Nigeria Metrological Agency                       (NiMET)

• Nigeria Airspace Management Agency        (NAMA)

• Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority                  (NCAA)

• Nigeria Safety and Investigation Bureau    (NSIB)

They have also been directed to handover to the most senior officer in their various departments without further delay.

A press statement issued by Odutayo Oluseyi from the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development stated that all affected Director are to ensure compliance.

The Ministry explained that Board Secretaries and Legal Advisers are not affected by the directive.
