FAAN security nabs 21 alleged perpetrators of crime at Lagos Airport

The determination of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria(FAAN) to get rid of touts and perpetrators of illegal activities at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos is yielding more result .
Twenty one suspects have been nabbed by the Aviation Security Crime Investigation Intelligence and Joint Military Task Force.
Those arrested are illegal foreign exchange dealers, hawkers and scavengers .
The apprehended suspects have since been transferred to the Nigerian Police Force through the Crime Investigation Intelligence for further action.
In a press release issued by Alhaji Yakubu-Funtua,Director,Public Affairs,FAAN warns that anyone who has no legitimate business at the airports should steer clear of the area.
The press release indicated that the safety and security of airport users and the airport environment is of utmost importance and cannot be compromised.
It reads:”FAAN …Committed to her core values… Safety! Security!! Comfort !!!”
