Nigeria’s flag carrier, Air Peace has made known its intention to evacuate stranded Nigerians from  crisis ridden Sudan.

Chairman of the Airline,Chief Allen Onyema indicated that his organization is inclined to support any course that will bring about national cohesion,peace and unity.

According to him,if the stranded Nigerians students and non students in Sudan are safely taken to the nearest state,Air Peace will ferry them back to Nigeria at no cost.

“ Nigerian students and others stranded in the war racked nation urgently “needs our help.”

Onyema is known for always coming to the aid of Nigeria any time its nationals are facing crisi in other countries

. Air Peace deployed flights to evacuate Nigerians in 2019 in South Africa due to xenophobic attack that led to some of them being  seriously injured.

In addition,the Airline evacuated stranded  Nigerian students from Ukraine and as they could not afford the air ticket to return home.

“I am  compelled to help because Nigeria cannot afford to lose her citizens in that country.This  will be my own   own commitment to make sure that the stranded Nigerians in the war-torn country are safe.”

“It will be a privilege and honour of tremendous pride that we will be out there to give every Nigerian stranded in Sudan a sense of pride and oneness in their country”.

“We are very ready to do it immediately. No time wasting. Any action that would promote national pride, national cohesion, peace and unity, we are for it.”

“ Again, we have no apologies for believing in our nation and loving the nation despite certain national challenges.”

“If they are moved to Kenya or Uganda or any other country, we will move in to get them out. Some parents have started calling on us to help. We are ready to do this again and again”.
