FAAN begins installation of check-in,screening equipment,appeals for understanding
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria(FAAN) has taken steps to address recent challenges in airport operations and facilitation management systems at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja respectively. The Authority which made this known in a press release signed by Mrs.Henrietta Yakubu,Genenral Manager Corporate Affairs noted that, the equipment required for addressing these challenges have arrived Nigeria and are already being installed. In addition, 15 security screening machines have been procured for immediate deployment to the General Aviation Terminal and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. They are also being installed already. The Authority appeals to all stakeholders to please bear with it while the installation would last, as all hands are on deck to ensure speedy completion of the project. |
