The Regional General Manager,South West of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria,Mrs.Victoria Shin-Aba has bowed out after 35 years of meritorious service.Airports under her included the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos,General Aviation Terminal,Ibadan Airport,Akure and many more.

Her retirement ceremony which also coincides with the launching  of her book titled MY RESILIENCE,The Memoir of My Bakery,attracted past and serving staff of FAAN.The Managing Director of  the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria,Captain Hamisu Yadudu was present to add pep to the occasion which took place at the Welcom Hotel on Airport Road Ajao Estate in Lagos.

Yadudu described her as a committed staf,a woman of God who is also paid attention to her family.Director of Airports Operations Capt.Muktar Muye under whom Shin-Aba worked,was full of kind words for the outgoing officer.He said that it was during her tenure that the Murtala Muhammed International Airport got the certification by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA),thus making it the first Airport to be certified in the country.”Very professional,thorough in all her duty.She was the driving force of the certification process.”

As Regional General Manager,she led her team under the guidance of FAAN Management for the commissioning of the newly built 14 miillion passenger per annum international terminal of Murtala Muhammed International Airport by President Muhammadu Buhari.

She was also recognized by Presidential Enabling Business Environment Committee (PEBEC) as FAAN Reform Champion on Ease of Doing Business.
